The building was reportedly erected as a full-scale sales environment where school administrators, motel owners, and parish hall committees could judge carpeting under "actual corridor and sunlight conditions" before placing bulk orders. One hook detail still visible from the road is that each room has its own labeled pattern family, including a former "high-traffic beige" vestibule that seems to have been repainted in a slightly different beige, likely the beginning of a local dispute worth returning for. Parking is informal along the gravel shoulder.
