Preserved in a fan arrangement around a central flagpole at the east edge of Merrit Vale, beside a township maintenance garage and a striped lot that appears larger than current demand requires, six full-scale street-corner curb designs form the Township Curb Radius Parade Ground. A small sign credits the Merrit Vale Township Road Standards Committee, though the painted turning templates on the pavement suggest the site was used for more than display. Local reports indicate it was built in the late 1980s so township trustees, school bus contractors, and snowplow operators could compare corner geometries before a downtown resurfacing project. The outer two curbs are labeled only by radius and one of the plaques appears to have been replaced after a mounting dispute or theft; access hours remain unclear.
