Fork Chapel
A functioning nondenominational wedding chapel whose 60-foot steeple takes the form of a four-tined dinner fork. Built by a retired restaurant-supply salesman and his wife, it has hosted more than 1,900 weddings and remains bookable by phone.

Interstate Museum of Other Interstate Museums
A former rest-area maintenance building housing the nation's only collection devoted to roadside museums that never received official highway signage. Holdings include some 40,000 unused brochures, the furniture of several failed visitor centers, and the complete gift-shop inventory of an attraction that closed three weeks before it opened.
