A roadside rock cut where passing sound returns in a distinct delayed flutter approximately twelve minutes after large noise events under the right temperature and wind conditions. The attraction was formalized in 1989 after county tourism planners, looking for inexpensive highway stops, funded a pull-off, rail fence, and interpretive sign at a spot long known to truckers and school bus drivers.
